Micro Projector and Gorrilapod Ultimate combo?

Buying a microprojector now is a great idea – buying one in 6 months is probably an even more sensible idea but what do you do when you get it? If your like us you will probably spend a few weeks projecting onto just about every surface you can find – from the wall outside your office to the back of the toilet door – and that really is the ace card for the mini projector – its capacity to show an image/video anywhere (almost.)

After this honeymoon period you will start to get a little irratated by the vibration/shake problems which although tiny are noticable when you hold the micro projector in hand. Fire up your browser though and you may find the solution. Seperately we had brought a few gorrilapod tripods for digital cameras to give them a trial / review – but by no luck they have the same mounting capacity as cameras – so you can actually use a gorilla pod in conjunction with a micro projector! What genius we thought, matching versitility with versitility. The gorrilapod is very excellent at what it does, almost anywhere you are sure to get a stable strong and useable platform for a camera, or in our case a handheld projector.

So our advice is – if your looking at microprojectors to buy – get a gorrilapod too – they are a small price (starting at £15 in the uk) for an excellent product – they should almost sell them with the projectors in the first place!
