Optoma PK101 Pico Projector

Last week we did a review of the 3M Micro projector (the Mpro 110) and we were hoping to get our hands on the Optoma pico projector for a review this week, unfortunately it has not yet arrived – but we thought a pre-review review would fill the void of posts nicely.

As you can see it has some nice features not seen in the other 3m micro projector, the most notable to us is the 20k lamp life – although not obnoxious in capacity at least it is stated, with the 3m they do not openly give out this information, making you think this micro-projector has been tested a lot more extensively, a great sign. Other things such as rechargable lithium iron battery, usb charging, leather case, multiple light settings and a magnesium alloy top case all add to the selling points of this cheaper compact mini projector. The weight of 115 grams is nice too, we didn’t weigh the 3m mini projector but 115 grams is not a lot for a projector!

All in all we cant wait to get our hands on the pico projector from optoma!

What do YOU think?
