The company you have likely never heard of – PhoneSuit has released an “iphone friendly portable projector” this iphone pico projector or “iphonector” as one crazy writer has dubbed it is almost in the uk electronics market – designed solely as an iphone accessory, projecting images strait from the Apple iPhone, the small handheld addon pico projector lacks compatibility with any apple ipod’ devices older than the iphone.

This lack of backward capacity is a sad point, but then if the technology doesnt support outgoing images in as easier way as the iphone & iphone 3gs then thats just how its got to be! Its announced that the phonesuit MiLi Pro (Suppose they couldnt call it the “iphone micro projector” with all that apple copywright!) will be with us in september of this year – with an average resolution of 640×480 (VGA) the projected image is capable of displaying drunken iphone photo’s, youtube videos and all the other small screen stuff that iphone users so love – it kinda gel’s well with the mobile wonder which is the apple-iphone.

Recommended to be used from as small as 5 inchs to 40 inchs the projected image capacity is pretty good – the company does claim up to 70 inch screens are available – but we doubt that at 70 inch screen @ a lowly 640×480 res would impress. Something which might make the MiLi Pro iphone-projector catch though is the small price – at only $99 (£60 Approx at current rates) its not such an expensive accessory. With a 10 lumen output we are pretty certain this product will sell fairly well but not amaze many people – its the first to latch onto the big success had by apple in order to promote a pico projector, but will that be enough to get it adored by the mass market?
