Another name enters the pico projector scene – Public-Soft. Releasing their first pico projector the MP 220 in India Public Soft are a new technology company joining the scene and launched their MP220 on the 9th of March.

Using technology that really isn’t that new – LCoS projector using an LED driver, the MP220 doesn’t break any boundaries really and probably wont be available in the uk except perhaps if someone buys a big bulk container full or similar then we may see some on ebay. 50 ANSI lumens and a 800×600px resolution (SVGA) is not bad but nothing new. 1GB internal memory, VGA port, AV input and Micro SD slot.

Almost nothing to say about this…in fact. Public Soft – another company releasing more same spec pico projectors…perhaps we will see a few of these in the UK and then we can do a review/testing. Oh yeah and whats the bet the MP in MP220 stands for Micro Projector? – Doesnt that name sound a bit like the offering from 3M too? is this just a “copycat”?
